Banyan tree is an ornamental tree usually used at the avenues as it provides tremendous shade to the area.
Banyan tree produces propagating roots which grow downwards as aerial roots. Once these roots reach the ground, they grow into woody trunks, that can become indistinguishable from the main trunk.
The trees at the nursery are more than the height of 8ft tall.
