The ivy geranium, first grown in the Netherlands is actually Pelargonium peltatum. A little less than a century later it made its way to Great Britain and America. Its leaves being very close in looks to ivy, the flowers tend to bloom well in moderate temperatures. The white geranium is lined with violet stripes in the center of the flowers. It looks very striking when it blooms in clusters of up to two inches and some of the plants can even snake its way to up to two feet in length!
