Tipuana

This is a beautiful tree that is covered with small axillary clusters of orange tinted yellow, pea-like flowers 3/4 inch across, blooming in spring and summer. It is semi-deciduous and widely-crowned with a flattened canopy. Grows very quickly to 25 ft and slows down until reaching 50 ft. The spread ranges from 30 – 55 ft wide. Because of the spread, it needs a lot of space.
